Alcohol-based hand sanitizers are gumming up the election process in Des Moines.

This is very unfortunate. Now alcohol-based hand sanitizers are gumming up the election process in Des Moines. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s voting guidance says alcohol-based sanitizers “may not be compatible with electronic voting equipment and may damage paper ballots,” and advises voters to dry their hands before handling those items. Using Prefense water-based hand sanitizers would solve that problem.
